Well, we've finally figured out that other people want to have us include their evaluations of sincerity in the towns and cities they live in. Frankly, we'd rather just visit (assuming that there's room at your house) and make the evaluation on our own, and know this - we unabashedly reserve the right to do so at a later date.-)

Obviously, we make no promises regarding publication other than that we will give everything sincere consideration.

Locally owned (as far as we can tell)

Not connected to a large corporation

Not a franchise except in the case of local chains

Friendly service

Goods and/or services thoughtfully priced

Not overly concerned with self-promotion

Value

Quality

They love what they're doing

We love being there, and want to go back

NOTE: A place may rise on the sincerity index if other qualities are involved such as:

Concern with the environment/sustainability

Using and/or selling locally produced goods

Going the extra mile to make us happy
